Retention installs for paid Skool communities

Most members quit before month two. We help you keep them.

Cohort Keeper sets up onboarding emails, first-month nudges and renewal check-ins for your paid Skool community. It takes 7 days, costs one fixed price, and needs no sales call.

What cancellations cost you

Paid communities lose about 4 to 9% of members a month, according to public Skool benchmarks. Put in your numbers.

Revenue walking out each month
$3,822
Over 12 months
$45,864
Kept if churn drops by a third
$15,288 a year

Simple estimate: members x price x churn rate. It ignores compounding, so the real loss is higher.

What we install

Four pieces, built on Skool's official Zapier integration and your own email tool. We never log in as you.

  1. 01

    Onboarding that fits each member

Your membership questions sort new members into a path. A beginner gets a beginner welcome email and the right first lesson. Someone further along skips ahead. Every path ends with one clear first goal.

  2. 02

A plan for the first 30 days

Short emails on day 1, 7, 14 and 21. Each one points to a single lesson and the next step toward the result your community promises.

  3. 03

    Check-ins before renewal

A few days before a member's first and second renewal, they get a note about what's coming next, like your next live call.

  4. 04

    A member FAQ assistant

Answers the questions you get every week, using your course content. It's labeled as an assistant, and your Day 30 report shows what it handled.

What your members get

Plain emails from your email tool, in your name and your voice. These are examples. Yours are written from your intake, and nothing goes out until you approve it.

How we measure it

Before launch, we record your starting point from Skool's analytics: monthly churn, and how many new members are still paying after 30 and 60 days. You send a screenshot or export at the start and again at day 30, and we compare the two.

Skool doesn't share member activity with outside tools, so we track what we can see reliably: joins, email opens and clicks, and renewals.

From a real teardown, anonymized

"Your 30-day refund guarantee and your 30-day goal end on the same day. Members who stall in the first month are likely to cancel or ask for a refund between days 30 and 60. Short nudges on day 1, 7, 14 and 21 can get them to a first product before the guarantee runs out."

Questions

Do I need Skool Pro?

Yes. Skool only offers its Zapier integration on the Pro plan, and that's how new members get sorted into paths and sent their emails.

Do you use unofficial Skool APIs or log in as me?

No. Everything runs through Skool's official Zapier integration and your own email tool. We never ask for your Skool password.

What do you need from me?

About 30 minutes for the intake form, admin access to set up Zapier, and your sign-off on the copy before launch.

How will I know it's working?

You get a Day 30 report that compares new-member renewals with your numbers from before launch. See what you get back.

Will members know it's automated?

The emails are written in your voice and sent in your name. The FAQ assistant is clearly labeled as an assistant.
